Soo…. I haven't seen you in forever and I miss your face. Just thought you should know.

AHH, I know!! Starbucks date for old times sake??

Uh. Yes?? BTW, your mom has been awesome getting me clients.

Really? That's great! Let's meet at the usual, and you can tell me all about them. 2:00pm ?

Sounds good. See you then!!!

Serena waited at the coffee shop for Haley. Taking a spot at a small table by the window, she sipped her latte and entertained herself by browsing the web on her phone.

Haley walked into their usual Starbucks and saw Serena sitting by the window. She smiled as she walked into the Starbucks, over to her best friend.

Glancing up from her phone she spotted Haley walking towards her. "Hey,' Serena smiled. 'How's it going?"

"Pretty well." She said with a smile as she sat across from Serena. "How is everything with you?"

"Good, I've been crazy busy lately. So many designers are casting for their spring collections." Serena replied. "So you said my mom was getting you tons of clients? I hope she hasn't gone too crazy. That woman doesn't know when to stop." She laughed.

Haley laughed and shook her head. "Well, I still have time to eat and sleep. I guess that's a good thing but things have been really busy. I saw your Versace ad the other day. It's sad that that's the only way I get to see you."

"I know, this whole being a grown up thing sucks." She said. "But, I only have three more days of this 'go see' stuff. Tell you what, if you're free next week, I'll take the week off just for you!" Serena smiled.

Haley's eyes brightened. "That would be perfect! Nate and Vanessa are supposed to be in town next week too. We should have a reunion. You can even invite Chuck."

"Sure, maybe we can have a dinner at my place or something." She suggested. "There is something else I really wanted to do with my down time, let's go boy hunting!"

Haley laughed. She was the same old Serena that she remembered from high school. "Alright. Sounds good. And I was thinking we could all go out to eat. There's a really good Italian restaurant that just opened. Maybe we could try it?"

"Sounds good, my hosting skills probably need some brushing up on first anyway." She said. "Anything else new or exciting in the life of Haley the photographer?"

Haley shook her head then looked up at Serena. "Do you remember that guy that I dated in high school?"

Serena thought for a minute. "The kind of quiet mysterious one, that I'm pretty hated me but you'd always try to convince me he didn't? Yeah, I think I remember. Whyy?" She asked suspiciously.

"Because I was booked to do the photography for his band's new album." She said before getting up to order her coffee. "I'll let that sink in while I go get my coffee." Haley stood up and headed over to the counter to place her order.

Serena waited for Haley to return to their table, "Well that's not awkward at all." She replied sarcastically. "Did you know it was his band? Or was it a surprise?" Serena was betting on the surprise.

Haley took a drink of her coffee as she sat down. "I assure you I was completely blind sided. I know it wasn't Lily either. Your mom was never really fond of him."

"Is she found of anyone we date, really?" She questioned. "But all that aside, what are you going to do?"

"I gave him my phone number and told me that if he wanted to get coffee, I would." Haley shrugged. "What else was I supposed to do? I was kind of blind sided."

"So do you want to be friends with him? Wait -' She paused. "Does this mean I'm hunting alone?"

"I don't know." Haley said with a groan. "I'm not sure what to think anymore. What do you think?" She looked at her friend, waiting for advice.
